Just ended my trial at True Fitness, quite a nice one, was seriously thinking of joining as they offer me a great price. After thinking for a long while, i decided it is not for me as all its gym is located in the central city and town area which is kind of far from my bukit panjang home. Most important my work place is likely to be at Mowbray Camp which is at Yew Tee. The fitness club target group is for those working near them one, finish work can straight go work out. Sorry Lucas and Ji Kwang for being the only one that say no to joining.
The main reason for this post is this. After the gym session, we went to Lau Pa Sat to have our dinner. I order from this stall named Ocean Seafood. Below is the picture which i ask lucas to take. I can't remember the name of the dish i ordered but it is the beef rice covered in red color sauce. It cost me $4. When the dish came, i was totally STUN! It was not the same color which i had ate at Bukit Timah or Woodland Al-Ameen. Never mind, it gave me FIVE 10-CENTS SIZE BEEF meat!!! F**KING HELL SMALL and LITTLE!!! plus few cabbage and rice. I finish the meat in less than 1 minutes. Nevertheless, it sucks. I forgotten to take picture of the food until i ate finish thus i decided to take a picture of the shop name down. That shop seriously need to wake up its ideas. Lau Pa Sat has lost its famous name for good food and great price. All the food there is for noob foreigner brought by tour package, overpriced and not really nice. All those famous one has either move away or retired. It's not the same Lau Pa Sat as i went to when i was 15-18years old when i was working near there.
In the end, i still need to spend for carrot cake as i was not full. That ocean seafood totally waste my time. Maybe becos it has a seafood name to it i shouldn't have order beef. Worse than cookhouse food. I spend the whole time cursing and complaining to my friends eating with me about the food which they totally agree with me. They already know. I like food alot, but recession also don't need give so little or cut the meat till so SMALL!
